PARK HYATT KUALA LUMPUR PRESENTS TASTE OF HERITAGE FOR MID-AUTUMN 2026

This Mid-Autumn Festival, Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur presents Taste of Heritage, a thoughtfully curated mooncake collection that celebrates the traditions of the season through flavour, tradition, and refinement

Available for pre-order from 17 August to September 2026, the collection celebrates the harmony between tradition and modern elegance through a selection of baked and snow skin mooncakes. Inspired by flavours that have long been enjoyed across generations, the collection brings together familiar customs and contemporary interpretations in celebration of reunion and gifting.

Among the collection are white bean creations featuring Peach Tea and Cream Cheese, Black Tea Mochi, and Noble Delight with dragon fruit flavour. Traditional baked varieties are reimagined through flavours such as Black Tea Mung Bean, while the artisanal chocolate series introduces Milk Chocolate with Peanut Butter Crunch, and Calamansi. For those drawn to seasonal favourites, the snow skin collection includes the highly sought-after Musang King durian mooncake.

Presented in two distinctive formats, the collection is designed to suit different gifting occasions while reflecting a harmonious balance of heritage and contemporary sophistication. The four-piece mooncake collection is housed within an elegant  Heritage Box inspired by the architectural details and design language of Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur. Conceived as a piece to be retained long after the season has passed, it transforms the tradition of Mid-Autumn gifting into a lasting keepsake. For more intimate gestures of appreciation, the two-piece collection is presented in a refined classic box featuring a leather-inspired handle and understated detailing. Thoughtfully designed for personal gifting, it offers the same spirit of celebration in a personalized manner.

Whether shared among family, friends, colleagues, or business partners, Taste of Heritage offers an opportunity to celebrate the season through thoughtful gifting and moments of connection beneath the full moon.

Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor Welcomes New Artist in Residence

Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor has welcomed a new artist in residence ahead of the launch of a new exhibition of artworks, as the iconic 93-year-old luxury hotel in Siem Reap, Cambodia continues to spotlight talented Khmer creatives. His latest exhibition, inspired by the majesty of Khmer royalty and the distinguished colour palette of the Raffles Royal Doorman, features vivid, brilliant hues often set against a stark backdrop. “The central concept revives the historical tradition of Khmer royalty, specifically focussing on the Royal Guards’ pantaloons. Historically, the colour of a king’s attire would change to correspond with the day of the week—a vibrant, visual reminder of the calendar and its spiritual significance,” said curator Nat Di Maggio of the local Tribe Art Gallery. Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor wil...
