Azerai Ke Ga Bay Appoints Praveen Subramanian as New Spa Manager

Azerai Ke Ga Bay, the tranquil bayside luxury resort in southern Vietnam, continues to elevate its highly regarded wellness offerings with the appointment of Praveen Subramanian as its new Spa Manager.

Praveen brings extensive expertise in yoga and holistic health practices to the serene all-suites-and-villas resort. He will lead a variety of sessions including traditional yoga, elemental yoga, signature breathwork, ocean breath meditation, as well as specialized programs focused on anxiety and stress release and the art of massage.

“Azerai Ke Ga Bay offers the perfect setting to reconnect with nature and oneself,” Praveen said. “We bring together healthy habits, mindful living, and inner balance to create true harmony. By tailoring personalized wellness experiences, we inspire sustainable wellbeing, vitality, and joyful living every day.”

The resort’s popular outdoor yoga sessions are held against the natural backdrop and gentle breezes of the sea.

Nestled amongst 4.5 hectares of verdant gardens, Azerai is framed to the east by Hon Ba Island with its historic lighthouse and to the west by soaring sand dunes. Located a comfortable 2.5-hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City on a new highway, the resort received a prestigious MICHELIN Key in 2025 and this year was also voted one of Vietnam’s top upcountry hotels by Travel + Leisure.

The resort’s spa menu features a wide range of treatments, from deep-tissue and gentle massages to stone therapy, body scrubs, wraps, facials and hand and foot rituals. Therapists draw on age-old Vietnamese healing techniques passed down through generations.

Azerai Ke Ga Bay’s sister property, Azerai La Residence in Hue, is similarly recognized for its distinctive wellness program. The historic art deco hotel overlooking the Perfume River recently launched a new Wellness Package that includes daily breakfast, Vietnamese afternoon tea, a 60-minute daily spa treatment for two, a signature bath ritual, and complimentary late check-out.

Azerai La Residence was named one of the world’s “500 Best Hotels” by Travel + Leisure earlier this year and recognized as one of Vietnam’s best upcountry hotels in the Travel + Leisure Luxury Awards Asia-Pacific 2026.

The two Azerai hotels are part of legendary hotelier Adrian Zecha’s latest portfolio.

Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor has welcomed a new artist in residence ahead of the launch of a new exhibition of artworks, as the iconic 93-year-old luxury hotel in Siem Reap, Cambodia continues to spotlight talented Khmer creatives. Teang Borin, popularly known as ‘DinArt’, is an audacious, self-taught artist whose work captures and exalts the essence of Cambodia’s rich religious and societal heritage. His latest exhibition, inspired by the majesty of Khmer royalty and the distinguished colour palette of the Raffles Royal Doorman, features vivid, brilliant hues often set against a stark backdrop. “The central concept revives the historical tradition of Khmer royalty, specifically focussing on the Royal Guards’ pantaloons. Historically, the colour of a king’s attire would change to correspond with the day of the week—a vibrant, visual reminder of the calendar and its spiritual significance,” said curator Nat Di Maggio of the local Tribe Art Gallery.
