Casio and Liberty Unite in Timeless Collaboration with the AQ-230 Series

Casio Malaysia has unveiled a refined collaboration that bridges heritage design and everyday watchmaking, introducing the AQ-230ELT and AQ-230EBLT—two timepieces created in partnership with renowned British design house, Liberty.

The release brings together Casio’s iconic digital-analog watchmaking with Liberty’s celebrated textile artistry, resulting in a collection that feels both classic and expressive.

A Legacy of Craft Meets Contemporary Design

Founded in London in 1875, Liberty has long been synonymous with intricate prints and distinctive patterns, particularly its signature floral and botanical motifs. Over the decades, these designs have found their way onto fashion, accessories, and interiors—earning a global following.

This collaboration translates that legacy into a wearable form, reinterpreting Liberty’s iconic Paisley Fanfare print through the lens of modern watch design.

A Familiar Silhouette, Reimagined

At its foundation, the collection builds on the popular Casio AQ-230, known for its rectangular case and hybrid analog-digital display.

The addition of Liberty’s paisley patterns transforms the watch into something more expressive. Flowing motifs extend across both the dial and bracelet, rendered with precision through laser engraving—a technique that enhances detail while maintaining a clean, refined finish.

Subtle branding elements, including the Liberty logo engraved on the clasp and case back, add a discreet touch of exclusivity.

Versatility in Two Distinct Styles

The collection is offered in two variations, each catering to different aesthetic preferences.

A silver-tone model presents a brighter, more classic look, while a gunmetal and black version introduces a darker, more contemporary edge. Both designs are intended to be versatile, complementing a wide range of personal styles—from understated elegance to bold expression.

Each timepiece is presented in special packaging adorned with the Paisley Fanfare motif, reinforcing the collaboration’s attention to detail.

Where Design Becomes Identity

What sets this collaboration apart is its ability to balance functionality with artistic identity.

The AQ-230 remains a practical everyday watch, yet through Liberty’s design language, it becomes something more—an accessory that reflects individuality and appreciation for craftsmanship.
