New G-SHOCK Honors International Women’s Day, Continuing Its Commitment to Empowering Women

In celebration of International Women’s Day, Casio unveils the GMA-P2126W, a special edition from the iconic G-SHOCK line that reflects the brand’s ongoing commitment to supporting and empowering women worldwide.

More than a commemorative timepiece, the GMA-P2126W forms part of an initiative that champions women who move forward with confidence, resilience and individuality. The watch embodies this spirit through its design: a signature octagonal bezel from the 2100 line in a refined, compact profile, finished in deep monochrome dark grey and accented with gold-tone details symbolising rays of hope and forward momentum.

Alongside the release, G-SHOCK continues its “WOMEN OF OUR TIME” campaign, which highlights exceptional women across diverse fields shaping their own paths. This year’s campaign features Ran Tondabayashi, a multidisciplinary Japanese artist and art director known for her bold, surreal yet charming visual style across illustration, collage, music, advertising and fashion collaborations. She created the project’s main visual through her distinctive artistic lens. I've embedded the campaign video, which captures fragments of time and expresses the G-SHOCK worldview of strength and beauty for your viewing pleasure.

The new GMA-P2126W will retail at RM619 and will be available on Casio’s official website from 4th of March 2026 onwards and at G-SHOCK Stores, G-Factory outlets and CASIO authorised dealers from mid-March. To extend the initiative, Casio will donate 5% of proceeds from sales of this model in Japan to the Japanese Organization for International Cooperation in Family Planning (JOICFP), supporting its mission to create a world where all women are healthy and empowered to make their own life choices.

Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor Welcomes New Artist in Residence

Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor has welcomed a new artist in residence ahead of the launch of a new exhibition of artworks, as the iconic 93-year-old luxury hotel in Siem Reap, Cambodia continues to spotlight talented Khmer creatives. Teang Borin, popularly known as ‘DinArt’, is an audacious, self-taught artist whose work captures and exalts the essence of Cambodia’s rich religious and societal heritage. His latest exhibition, inspired by the majesty of Khmer royalty and the distinguished colour palette of the Raffles Royal Doorman, features vivid, brilliant hues often set against a stark backdrop. “The central concept revives the historical tradition of Khmer royalty, specifically focussing on the Royal Guards’ pantaloons. Historically, the colour of a king’s attire would change to correspond with the day of the week—a vibrant, visual reminder of the calendar and its spiritual significance,” said curator Nat Di Maggio of the local Tribe Art Gallery. Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor wil...
