Samsung Unveils Galaxy Tab S11 Series: Ultra-Thin Design Meets Galaxy AI

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. has introduced the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S11, marking a new milestone in tablet innovation with the thinnest Galaxy Tab to date, enhanced by Galaxy AI and the new One UI 8. The series, designed for productivity, creativity and mobility, launches in Malaysia on 19 September 2025.

Intelligence Meets Portability

At just 5.1 mm, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra redefines sleekness without compromising performance. Both models feature Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays with up to 1,600 nits brightness, ensuring crisp visuals indoors and outdoors. Powered by Samsung’s latest 3nm processor, the tablets boast performance gains of 33% in NPU, 24% in CPU, and 27% in GPU – enabling smoother multitasking and responsive AI integration.

AI-Powered Productivity

Running One UI 8, the series brings Samsung’s most advanced multimodal AI to date. Users can interact with Gemini Live in real time, whether by sharing screens, pointing the camera at objects, or seeking instant summaries of documents and articles. Tools such as Drawing Assist and Writing Assist streamline creativity and communication, while Circle to Search with Google enables on-screen translations and contextual information at a glance.

The redesigned S Pen features a cone-shaped tip for precision, greater tilt control, and a hexagonal body for ergonomic grip, reinforcing the device’s dual purpose as a productivity and creative tool.

Enhanced Samsung DeX

The upgraded Samsung DeX delivers a more powerful desktop-like experience with Extended Mode, turning the tablet and external monitors into seamless dual-screen workstations. Users can also create up to four customized workspaces, catering to professional, creative and personal needs. Combined with the Book Cover Keyboard Slim, the tablets transform into mobile workstations for on-the-go professionals.

Ecosystem of Apps and Benefits

Samsung has partnered with leading third-party apps, offering Galaxy Tab S11 users exclusive benefits:

Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor Welcomes New Artist in Residence

Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor has welcomed a new artist in residence ahead of the launch of a new exhibition of artworks, as the iconic 93-year-old luxury hotel in Siem Reap, Cambodia continues to spotlight talented Khmer creatives. Teang Borin, popularly known as ‘DinArt’, is an audacious, self-taught artist whose work captures and exalts the essence of Cambodia’s rich religious and societal heritage. His latest exhibition, inspired by the majesty of Khmer royalty and the distinguished colour palette of the Raffles Royal Doorman, features vivid, brilliant hues often set against a stark backdrop. “The central concept revives the historical tradition of Khmer royalty, specifically focussing on the Royal Guards’ pantaloons. Historically, the colour of a king’s attire would change to correspond with the day of the week—a vibrant, visual reminder of the calendar and its spiritual significance,” said curator Nat Di Maggio of the local Tribe Art Gallery. Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor wil...
