LUZ Lights Up the Bangkok Night with 2nd Anniversary Celebration

LUZ Bangkok Tapas Bar, the iconic rooftop venue at INNSiDE by Meliá Bangkok Sukhumvit, is hosting an “Eat Spain Drink Spain” evening on September 26, 2025, to celebrate its second anniversary.

Drawing on the Meliá brand’s Spanish origins, the hotel will welcome guests and visitors this Friday to a fun-filled night of tapas, Sangria, cocktails and entertainment from 4pm to 9:30pm.

Starting at 4pm and located on the 33rd floor of this modern hotel, the event will showcase premium Spanish products, while live entertainment will be provided by a guitarist and DJ.

The party continues from 7.30pm when it moves upstairs to the Giant Swing Pool Bar on the 34th floor with Sangria, draft beers, signature cocktails, more music and mesmerizing panoramic views over the city.

The hotel’s 34th floor features a pool bar, transparent infinity pool, and rooftop terrace, while its most photogenic highlight is a contemporary interpretation of Bangkok’s Brahman structure, The Giant Swing.

The dress code is Smart Casual with a preference for the colors red, blue and black. Table reservations can be made in advance at: luz@innsidebangkok.com or (tel) 02 340 5498.

Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor has welcomed a new artist in residence ahead of the launch of a new exhibition of artworks, as the iconic 93-year-old luxury hotel in Siem Reap, Cambodia continues to spotlight talented Khmer creatives. Teang Borin, popularly known as ‘DinArt’, is an audacious, self-taught artist whose work captures and exalts the essence of Cambodia’s rich religious and societal heritage. His latest exhibition, inspired by the majesty of Khmer royalty and the distinguished colour palette of the Raffles Royal Doorman, features vivid, brilliant hues often set against a stark backdrop. “The central concept revives the historical tradition of Khmer royalty, specifically focussing on the Royal Guards’ pantaloons. Historically, the colour of a king’s attire would change to correspond with the day of the week—a vibrant, visual reminder of the calendar and its spiritual significance,” said curator Nat Di Maggio of the local Tribe Art Gallery. Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor wil...
