Knai Bang Chatt by Kep West Unveils Signature Wellness Retreats, Cementing Its Role as a Pioneer in Regenerative Wellbeing Tourism in Cambodia

Knai Bang Chatt by Kep West, a longtime pioneer of sustainable hospitality in Southeast Asia, is setting a new standard for wellness-driven tourism with the launch of its signature retreat programme. With the launch of four distinctive

retreats in 2025, including the Sail & Serenity Retreat in August and the

Autumn Alignment: Chakra Balancing in October, the resort is reimagining the role of wellness in travel, transforming it from a luxurious add-on to a foundational element of personal growth, cultural connection, and environmental stewardship.

“The Kep West Wellness Centre was opened last year to to meet the growing demand for meaningful, healing travel,” said

Jef Moons, Founder and CEO of Knai Bang Chatt by Kep West. “Since its launch, Lana Yang has played an instrumental role in transforming our wellness approach to an integrated, holistic programme. Our newly launched retreats offer guests an opportunity

to reset, reconnect, and be part of a wider movement toward regenerative living.”

Sail & Serenity Yoga Retreat (7–9 August 2025)

A first of its kind in Cambodia, the Sail & Serenity Yoga Retreat combines the invigorating freedom of the sea with the grounding practices of yoga and meditation. Spanning four days and three nights, guests will begin each morning with a yoga practice

designed to build strength, balance, and mental focus; essential qualities for navigating both the ocean and inner landscapes.

Midday sessions include hands-on sailing instruction aboard small crafts, covering everything from rigging and tacking to capsize recovery. Evenings are devoted to gentle recovery yoga and Tibetan bowl sound therapy to release physical tension and enhance emotional

 clarity.

All participants are guided toward earning a basic sailing certification, making this retreat not just restorative but skill-building. With nourishing meals and quiet evenings under the stars,

Sail & Serenity offers an inspiring blend of movement, challenge, and deep rest.

Autumn Alignment: Chakra Balancing Retreat (24–26 October 2025)

Co-led by Lana Yang and veteran yoga therapist Aimee, this highly anticipated three-day retreat is designed around the ancient yogic principle of chakra alignment, balancing the body’s energy centers through asana, breathwork, and meditation.

Autumn Alignment features a full spectrum of yogic tools: dynamic morning flows, deep yin and restorative practices, guided philosophy discussions, evening chanting, and silent mornings for reflection. Meals are vegan, light, and cleansing, specially

crafted to support energetic clarity. Set just after the equinox, Autumn Alignment is an ideal opportunity for those looking to reset their inner compass and prepare for the final stretch of the year with intention and clarity.

In addition to scheduled retreats, guests can reserve private, fully customizable wellness journeys throughout the year. These ongoing programmes are ideal for solo travelers, couples, or small groups seeking meaningful transformation on their own terms.

Yoga & Spa Daycation: This one-day immersion combines a 90-minute morning yoga, breathwork, and meditation session with a nourishing three-course vegetarian lunch, reflective journaling grounded in yogic philosophy, and a choice between a restorative

spa treatment or Tibetan sound healing session. Perfect for weekenders, locals, and digital nomads looking for a mindful reset.

Wabi Sabi Yoga Retreat – Embrace Your Truth: Offered in three- or five-day journeys, this personalized retreat takes place surrounded by nature, enabling participants to embrace imperfection, cultivate self-compassion, and reconnect with their own truths.

The immersion blends daily meditation, energizing yoga, themed journaling, and plant-based cuisine with optional excursions such as forest hikes, traditional monk blessings, or kayaking. Evenings feature restorative practices like chanting and Yoga Nidra to

 support deep rest and integration.

All wellness offerings are led by certified practitioners, including Lana Yang, Kep West’s Wellness Manager. Lana brings more than two decades of experience across yoga, sound healing, energy healing, somatic and bodywork therapy. Her integrative philosophy

underpins every element of the wellness experience.

“We design each retreat not just as a getaway, but as a gateway to healing, discovery, and connection,” said Lana. “Our mission is to help people come home to themselves, while respecting the land and the people who make this place so special.”
