Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+: The Ultimate Tablet for Work, Play, and Creativity

Samsung has long been a dominant force in the world of Android tablets, but with the arrival of the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+, the brand has taken things up a notch — delivering a device that is not just for media consumption, but a true productivity and creativity companion. Launched in Malaysia on 8 May 2025, the Tab S10 FE+ targets students, young professionals, and digital creatives who demand versatility without breaking the bank.

Slim, Tough, and Ready for Anything

At just 6.0mm thin and weighing 664g, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ is remarkably sleek, making it easy to slip into a bag or carry one-handed. Its aluminum frame and matte finish give it a premium, fingerprint-resistant feel, while the standout feature here is IP68 water and dust resistance — rare at this price point.

During a recent hands-on weekend test, we accidentally splashed water on the device while cooking. A quick wipe was all it took, and the tablet continued to function flawlessly. Whether at a café, by the pool, or in a classroom, this tablet is built to handle everyday mishaps.

Display That Delivers

The 13.1-inch WQXGA IPS LCD display (1800 x 2880) may not be AMOLED, but it impresses with sharp detail, good color accuracy, and a 90Hz refresh rate that makes scrolling and transitions smooth. We streamed 4K YouTube videos, binge-watched Netflix’s Newtopia Series, and sketched in Samsung’s PenUp app — and the screen held up beautifully, even under bright sunlight.

While you’ll notice slightly less contrast in very dark scenes compared to AMOLED panels, the 600-nit peak brightness and Samsung’s excellent color calibration make this display a strong performer for both entertainment and creative work.

Performance That Handles It All

Under the hood, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ is powered by Samsung’s new 4nm Exynos 1480 processor and Xclipse 530 GPU (based on AMD’s RDNA architecture), paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage (expandable up to 1TB via microSD).

In everyday use, the tablet breezed through multitasking with Samsung DeX, Canva, Microsoft Office, and even games like Genshin Impact at medium settings. During extended gaming or productivity sessions, it stayed cool and responsive, a testament to its well-optimized thermal design.

S Pen and AI Tools: A Creative Game-Changer

Samsung continues to lead in stylus integration, and the included S Pen is a major highlight. With low latency, palm rejection, and smart features, it’s perfect for note-taking, drawing, annotating, or even tackling math problems.

We used the S Pen extensively during a project pitch and found tools like Note Assist AI especially handy, summarizing long meeting notes into key points. For students, the Math Solver tool can break down complex algebra problems step by step — making the tablet a valuable tutoring companion.

Keyboard Included: Work On the Go

One of the best parts of the Malaysian launch bundle is the Book Cover Keyboard (free for a limited time). Snapping magnetically to the tablet, it instantly transforms the Tab S10 FE+ into a laptop-like setup. With Samsung DeX, you get a desktop-style interface with resizable windows and multi-app layouts, ideal for working on documents, presentations, or editing content.

We drafted this review on the tablet itself in a bustling café, and the keyboard’s tactile feedback and near-zero latency made it easy to work for hours comfortably.

Battery and Connectivity

The 10,090mAh battery easily delivered over 11 hours of mixed use, including video streaming, writing, gaming, and browsing. With 45W fast charging (charger sold separately), we charged from 10% to full in under two hours.

Connectivity-wise, the Tab S10 FE+ ticks all the boxes: 5G, Wi-Fi 5G (Sub-6), Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and USB-C 2.0. Seamless syncing across Samsung’s ecosystem (Galaxy Buds, Galaxy smartphones, SmartThings) made file transfers, audio handoffs, and continuity features smooth and effortless.

Cameras and Audio

For video calls and media, the tablet is equipped with a 13MP rear camera (4K 30fps video) and a 12MP ultrawide front camera — perfect for online meetings, classes, or group chats. The quad speakers, tuned by AKG and enhanced with Dolby Atmos, deliver impressively full and immersive sound, rivaling even some higher-priced competitors.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ is priced at RM2,799 (Wi-Fi) and RM3,299 (5G) for the 12GB + 256GB configuration. For Malaysian buyers, the launch promotion (valid until 15 June 2025) includes a free Book Cover Keyboard worth RM499 and a RM200 instant rebate with trade-in — a compelling deal for anyone considering an upgrade.

Final Verdict

After more than a week of hands-on testing, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ has proven itself as one of the most versatile and value-packed tablets of 2025. Whether you’re a student juggling assignments, a professional working on the move, or a creative sketching your next big idea, this tablet rises to the challenge — blending entertainment, productivity, and creativity in a single, sleek device. For those seeking a premium tablet experience without paying flagship prices, Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ is hard to beat.

Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor Welcomes New Artist in Residence

Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor has welcomed a new artist in residence ahead of the launch of a new exhibition of artworks, as the iconic 93-year-old luxury hotel in Siem Reap, Cambodia continues to spotlight talented Khmer creatives. Teang Borin, popularly known as ‘DinArt’, is an audacious, self-taught artist whose work captures and exalts the essence of Cambodia’s rich religious and societal heritage. His latest exhibition, inspired by the majesty of Khmer royalty and the distinguished colour palette of the Raffles Royal Doorman, features vivid, brilliant hues often set against a stark backdrop. “The central concept revives the historical tradition of Khmer royalty, specifically focussing on the Royal Guards’ pantaloons. Historically, the colour of a king’s attire would change to correspond with the day of the week—a vibrant, visual reminder of the calendar and its spiritual significance,” said curator Nat Di Maggio of the local Tribe Art Gallery. Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor wil...
