Maurice Lacroix AIKON Automatic Now in Ceramic

 The Swiss watchmaker Maurice Lacroix is entering a new era with the introduction of its iconic AIKON collection in special "technical ceramic". I am delighted to present Maurice Lacroix's latest novelties: the new AIKON Automatic Ceramic, available in two contrasting hues – black and white.


Standing out from the ordinary ceramic watches, this innovative "technical ceramic" enhances performance by incorporating zirconium oxide doped with three additional oxides: hafnium oxide, yttrium oxide, and aluminium oxide. This unique material retains the ceramic's common properties of corrosion resistance and hypoallergenic qualities, while also improving durability, thermal stability, and overall strength. Bringing the AIKON Automatic Ceramic to life was a formidable challenge for the research and development team, requiring three intensive years to perfect the finish of this specially treated ceramic and achieve ultimate comfort.


Maurice Lacroix proudly presents the collection in two sizes – 42mm and 39mm, with designs that embody urban contrasts. The pitch-black variant exudes the mystery of a night owl in the city, while the glossy white version radiates brilliance, like sunlight reflected in an urban landscape.
