This festive season, Alila Seminyak captures the spirit of celebration by the sea, blending tropical warmth with the resort’s signature coastal elegance. Framed by the golden sands and rhythmic waves of Seminyak Beach, the resort invites guests to indulge in a series of alluring culinary and lifestyle experiences designed to awaken the senses and rekindle togetherness.
The festive journey begins at Seasalt Seminyak, Bali’s most iconic coastal restaurant renowned for its sustainable, seafood-forward menu with a Japanese touch and global creativity. From December 1 to 23, guests are invited to host their year-end celebrations with the Seasalt Festive Group Party Dinner, available from 5 pm to 10 pm. Priced from IDR 450,000++ per person for a minimum of four guests, this gathering-style festive menu is designed to bring colleagues, friends, and loved ones together in a relaxed, oceanfront setting.
On Christmas Eve, the pioneering restaurant presents the Seasalt Coastal Brunch, a vibrant celebration of the season featuring abundant specialties, live entertainment, and a cheerful visit from Santa. As night falls, the Festive Dinner invites guests to indulge in a Christmas-themed set menu that pays homage to Indonesia’s finest delicacies from both land and sea, with an à la carte option also available. Guests can also celebrate at the Beach Bar Christmas Eve Party, where a festive BBQ menu is served from 5 pm to 10 pm as the sun sets over the horizon.
The celebration continues on Christmas Day with the Seasalt Christmas Brunch, where joyful carols from the Christmas choir, live entertainment, and a visit from Santa add a touch of magic. As the festivities unfold, guests can head to the Beach Bar Christmas Day Party, featuring a festive BBQ menu and ice cream corner by the shore. The evening concludes with a Festive Dinner, available as a set menu or à la carte.
As the final sunset of the year paints the horizon, Alila Seminyak invites guests to ring in 2026 with the six-course New Year’s Eve: Rhythm & Reef Wagyu and Lobster Set Menu at Seasalt. The evening begins with a Garden Bouquet with Packham Pear Chutney, followed by Kombu Hokkaido Scallop, and a main course of Wagyu and Lobster with Raclette Cheese and Wild Morel Mushrooms. A lavish cheese experience featuring six artisanal varieties follows, before the celebration flows to the Beach Bar Countdown Party, where live jazz, pop-up food stations, handcrafted cocktails, and fireworks over the Indian Ocean mark a radiant beginning to the new year. The celebrations continue the next day as guests are invited to join the First Sunset of the Year at Beach Bar, where live music entertainment sets the mood for a year of new beginnings and coastal serenity.
Beyond the dining table, Alila Seminyak celebrates creativity and community through a collaboration with Membumi, a women-led social enterprise preserving the pottery traditions of Binoh Village in West Denpasar. Guests can purchase an exclusive Painting Clay Set, crafted from wild brown clay by local artisans — a meaningful keepsake that may be painted on-site or taken home and used as a seed planter, reflecting Bali’s natural beauty and artistry.
Meanwhile, Play Alila invites younger guests and families to join a joyful program of daily workshops from December 22 to January 5, featuring festive crafts, tree decorating, and recycled creations, along with cozy movie nights from December 24 to 30. For those seeking balance amid the festivities, morning yoga by the beach, pranayama sessions, and sound baths offer moments of renewal, while Spa Alila completes the experience with signature treatments designed to restore calm and clarity as the year draws to a close.
“The festive season at Alila Seminyak is an invitation to slow down and savor life by the sea,” says Christiane Ferger, General Manager of Alila Seminyak. “It’s about genuine connections — between people, place, and the moment — with experiences that capture the island’s effortless rhythm and warmth.”
