KLEO Seminyak Celebrates Grand Opening With a Neighborhood-Inspired Showcase of Rooftop Vibes and Island Energy

KLEO Seminyak, Southeast Asia’s first JdV by Hyatt hotel, officially celebrated its Grand Opening on 18 September, marking its full unveiling as a destination where design, flavor, and community converged in Bali’s most dynamic neighborhood. More than a ribbon-cutting, the 18 September celebration brought together local creatives and the wider Seminyak community.

From the moment of arrival, the Grand Opening brought together valued partners, media, public figures, and travel collaborators to experience KLEO’s playful yet soulful world. The event came alive with a DJ and saxophone performance, a cabaret show, and acrobatic displays, setting a lively tone that highlighted KLEO’s creative spirit and its role as a vibrant hub for the neighborhood.

Culinary highlights were presented by Zia Tina and Rooftop Social. For the evening, Zia Tina delighted guests with wood-fired pizzas, a nod to Chef Maurizio’s southern Italian roots, while Rooftop Social poured cocktails against Seminyak’s famed golden sunsets. Beyond the event, Zia Tina channels the warmth of Puglia through handmade pastas and produce-driven dishes, while Rooftop Social reimagines a Riviera-style escape with retro-modern design and a breezy poolside vibe, and it is also open to the public.

Alongside these experiences, the Grand Opening hosted a showcase of KLEO Neighbors: Eazy Bar, the Take-it-Eazy Neighbor; Deli Island, the Smoky Neighbor; and Seasalt Seminyak, KLEO’s Coastal Dining Favorite. Together, the collaborations highlighted KLEO’s ties to its community, culminating in sunset rooftop festivities as a living embodiment of the property’s spirit of Joie de Vivre (joy of life).

Each of the 60 rooms continued this journey, crafted as “scented love letters to Seminyak’s soul.” Bold mid-century modern design meets eclectic hues and Zen-inspired bathrooms, while sculptural wall art, unexpected tones, and locally inspired amenities are curated to spark joy and connection.

Steps from Petitenget Beach, Seminyak Village, Beach Bar at Alila Seminyak, and dozens of boutiques and beach clubs, KLEO Seminyak immerses guests in the neighborhood’s cultural rhythm. Reflecting the JdV by Hyatt philosophy of celebrating the joy of life, the hotel connects visitors not only to its expressive design and culinary experiences but also to the vibrant community outside its doors.

World of Hyatt members are able to earn 1,000 Bonus Points for qualifying nights at KLEO Seminyak through to 20 December 2025, as part of Hyatt’s New Hotel Member Offer. No registration is required, and members earn points on top of other offers.

“The Grand Opening was about opening our doors fully to the neighborhood and inviting guests to discover Bali’s coastal creativity in a new way,” said Christiane Ferger, General Manager of KLEO Seminyak. “From design-forward rooms to Chef Maurizio’s culinary vision and our rooftop sunsets, every detail is meant to spark connection and celebrate the joy of Seminyak.”
