The Macallan Celebrates 200 Years with the Launch of Harmony Vibrant Oak 

 




In honour of its 200th anniversary, The Macallan unveils Harmony Vibrant Oak - a whisky that blends tradition with forward-thinking creativity. This fourth release symbolises The Macallan’s commitment to embracing the future while celebrating its rich legacy and craftsmanship.

This unique whisky, designed with an eye on the future, is available exclusively at select bars in Chinatown, Kuala Lumpur. The following venues will offer Harmony Vibrant Oak as part of an immersive cocktail experience:

Additionally, the Astor Bar at St. Regis Kuala Lumpur will also offer the Harmony Vibrant Oak experience.


Each of these distinguished bars will craft exclusive cocktails inspired by The Macallan’s versatility and craftsmanship, inviting guests to explore the whisky’s rich complexity through innovative mixology. The collaborative represents a new wave of whisky tasting, blending the past with the future in every sip.

Matured primarily in American oak seasoned with sherry, The Harmony Vibrant Oak captivates with an irresistible aroma of creamy vanilla bean, zesty lime, and sweet sherbet. This sensory journey evolves with the fragrant allure of ripe pears elegantly layered over a delicate vanilla sponge cake, a prelude to a symphony of flavours that are as complex as they are harmonious.

On the palate, indulge in luxurious notes of creamy vanilla panna cotta, buttery shortbread, and lightly toasted coconut, balanced by the crunch of almond brittle, crisp apple, and the warmth of sweet oak. The journey concludes with a smooth, medium finish, leaving behind a lingering sweetness of vanilla that beckons for another sip. 


In addition to its exquisite flavour, Harmony Vibrant Oak is also a testament to The Macallan’s commitment to sustainability. The whisky packaging reimagines oak chippings, which are by-products from The Macallan’s cask-making process. This sustainable approach reflects the brand’s commitment to both environmental responsibility and its tradition of using natural elements to shape the whisky experience.
